Home Ventilator Fundamentals and Maintenance

The purpose of the course is to allow the participant to define mechanical ventilation, identify Dr. prescribed parameter's on the ventilator for patient safety, properly troubleshoot mechanical ventilator's to help avoid ventilator complication's with patient's and maintenance .
We understand that mechanical ventilation can be an intimidating subject for Health Care Practitioner's. Our goal is to demystify that illusion and use this knowledge to guide, support and motivate the health care practitioner. We believe that good teaching requires practical professional development, personal reflection and hands on experience. We value the participants involvement at every level and encourage participation for the most powerfully enriching learning experience possible.

Introduction to Tracheostomy and Airway Management

Many find tracheostomy maintainance and management to be overwhelming when it comes to patient care. We at VentEd have worked diligently to introduce and educate on this delicate area of care. We review key terms and concepts to allow the health care practitioner to gain knowledge and therefore self confidence in working with this patient type. We cover various scenarios and conduct an open forum for all health care practitioners unique experiences. This involvement helps the participant sustain the information acquired during the class.
